Mezcla Ice Cream is an enthusiast, foodie approved, local hangout, and tourist hub serving premium handcrafted ice cream in surprising flavors of avocado, corn, guava and cheese, mamey and many more. We use the bounty from our local farms to prepare cultural feasts for your mouth. Our popsicles are made in house with fruits picked at Central Market. You may find us at our physical space in the Historic Southeast at 318 S Duke St. or remotely at special events and gatherings.
Ice Cream
Heidi Castillo. I am a third generation female entrepreneur, community builder, and co-founder of Mezcla Ice Cream. I am primarily a community builder. I enjoy bringing people together. It’s not out of character for me to host dinner parties and gather with people I’d like to learn more about. I am great at connecting like minded individuals and activating them to achieve amazing things. I am comfortable engaging people with unique ideas, participating in framework building, and encouraging others to support in implementation. I launched Mezcla because I’m obsessed with creating a sense of belonging and connection. It’s one of the fastest routes to building intimacy with customers.

The origin of Mezcla Ice Cream started with family. The word Mezcla means blend or mix and it represents not only the ingredients found in ice cream but also the diversity in my family and the quadrants of the City of Lancaster.
